Profile
Profile
Practising artist and researcher of history of art. Main medium of expression is painting. Also experiment with mixed media, sometimes introducing printing methods such as monoprint, etching, collagraph and lino-cut. Most recent work contains colourfully painted jewel-like scenes with an air of mystery.
The depiction of light and vivid colour shown in the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artists' paintings has given me much inspiration. As has thepaintings of the Surrealist artists.
